In the Championship Game of the East County Invite, West Hills beat Ramona 11 to 5. West Hills came out strong in the first quarter showing how strong of a defense we have holding Ramona to 1 and earning 5 steals which led to 3 counter attack goals. The end of the first saw West Hills have a 4 to 1 lead. West Hills then made some substitutions which led to some sloppy offensive play letting Ramona get back into the game and at the half West Hills was holding on to a slim 5 to 4 lead. As usual, if the Lady Wolf Pack have a bad quarter they come out firing the next quarter. This was true again in the third. West Hills cleaned up their passing and got the offense moving again. We drew 4 man advantages in the third quarter, scoring on three of those pushing the lead back to comfort level. And at the end of the third quarter, the Lady Wolf Pack held a commanding 9 to 4 lead. The forth quarter was more cruise control as the lady Wolf Pack scored twice in the first 1:30 of the quarter and celebrations started. It was a great game by all and a great week for the Lady Wolf Pack as they went 7 and 0.

Fallon Burnworth had 5 goals and was named Tournament MVP. Carly Bockstahler had 4 goals. Natalie Holder and Rielly Mock each had one goal.

Good Luck next week as you play Valhalla at Valhalla on Wednesday 5:30 PM and host Grossmont on Thursday at 5 PM.
