Game Recap

The Wolf Pack started off Grossmont League play with an intensely fought 3-2 win over Monte Vista HS. Senior Captain Troy Valade opened the scoring 12 minutes into the contest from a beautiful pass from Senior Christian Medina. The lead was short lived as the Monarchs evened the game five minutes later. Senior Captain Paul Anderson then did what he’s done all year and scored twice to give the ‘Pack a two goal lead. Great passing from the midfield trio of Ryan Jewell, Andrew Pappalardo and Jarrett Pricor set up Anderson. With those goals Anderson has now set a new school record for goals scored in a single season. Monte Vista didn’t back off and scored once more before halftime. The second half became a defensive affair as neither team could score again and the Wolves walked away with the win.
