Game Recap

The West Hills Boys Soccer team raced out to a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the match versus West Shores high school with two goals from Paul Anderson and one from Ryan Jewell. The Wolves came out hungry as Senior Paul Anderson scored his first goal at the two minute mark from an assist from fellow Senior Troy Valade. Senior Ryan Jewell added a second before Anderson picked up his second tally. The Wolves’ defense was rarely challenged but Senior goalkeeper John Norton made an excellent save to keep the lead at three goals. Junior Andrew Pappalardo expertly controlled a crossing ball from Junior Pablo Ramirez then shook off a defender before hitting his shot into the low corner for the team’s fourth goal. Coach Shubert cleared the bench getting every member of the squad some playing time and the Wolves cruised to the win. Next up, Montgomery HS in the final group game of the Grossmont Holiday tournament this Saturday morning.
